I guess my roots in graphic design began as a kid tracing my favorite comic book superheroes and the unending desire to try to figure out how something is done. Meanwhile, a new art revolution was springing up around me in New York ... grafitti writing. I immediately fell in love with the unorthodox style and began to develop my skills as a writer. Needless to say, I never went out and "bombed" any trains or buildings, but I had a notebook full of "pieces" that I was quite proud of. Though I have never studied art officially, it has always been one of my two favorite passions. What's the other one, you may ask? Well, it is music and that is where my career took a detour for 16 years.

I entered the Music Industry right after I graduated from Wesleyan University and eventually worked my way up the jagged corporate ladder to VP status of Atlantic Records. But, all goes things must come to an end. What began as an excellent marriage of passion and career ended in corporate downsizing. Fortunately, I maintained my second passion as a hobby taking my work into the digital arena. So, after several courses at the Pratt Institute and the School of Visual Arts, I decided to start my own freelance graphic design studio.

So, now you know that Lucid Motives is a small, Brooklyn, NY based freelance graphic design studio offering affordable solutions within the graphic design arena. Established in 2007, my specialties are custom made web, print and identity/branding designs. My goal is to always serve your identity in an original, sensitive and outstanding manner.

While creating any design, I work closely with the client and pay extraordinary attention to preparatory work. All of my web designs and layouts are aesthetically attractive, standards compliant, easy to navigate, readable and compatible with all modern browsers. My brand development and identity creations are the incarnation of your company’s, or organization's image. From corporate identity to packaging design, posters, stickers, clothing and brochures, Lucid Motives does it all.
